My Original Piece:

My sophomore year of high school, I wrote an argumentative essay about how our former President, Donald Trump, is similar to Regina George, a high school teenage bully from the iconic movie, Mean Girls. My sophomore year of high school was in 2017. This piece was written one year into Trump's presidency. Frustrated at how we could have elected such a horrendous, disgusting, manipulative, childish, selfish, lying, coward to run our country. Donald Trump is a loser who projects his insecurities onto others by shaming them publicly. The way Trump treats others reminded me of the "Mean Girl" herself, Regina George. My genuine passion for politics and my moral values are what drive my hatred towards our former President, thus creating this argumentative essay.
